There’s a new and exciting way to play daily market action, and they’re called Event Contracts. And with a new mobile experience, placing predictions on market moves has never been easier with Tradovate. If you’ve always wanted to participate in the markets, but haven’t taken the plunge, now may be the time to dive in and raise your game.

Will the market close at a certain price by the end of the day, Yes or No?

It’s that simple.

What are Event Contracts?

Event Contracts provide daily opportunities to make predictions on up or down price moves in some of the world’s benchmark futures markets, including the E-mini S&P 500, E-mini Nasdaq 100, Gold, Crude oil and more.  View all available markets.

So, how do you trade them?

You can choose markets from several categories including Indices, Energies, Currencies, and Metals. Watch this short video for a step-by-step guide on how to make predictions.

What are the stakes?

For each Event Contract, a correct prediction is worth a $20 payout while the amount required to purchase a contract varies based on the likelihood of success. Incorrect predictions have a $0 payout which means your cost in these cases would be the amount you paid to make the prediction.*

Below is an example of a prediction.  Image 1 shows an available prediction for the E-Mini S&P 500, “Will it end above 3955.00?”  This price is close to the current price, so a “Yes” or “No” prediction has the same cost. The potential profit of $10.25  is shown in Image 2 with a correct prediction paying $20 for each contract.  And remember, the risk is limited to the cost of the prediction.  So, just choose a target closing price, decide Yes or No, and win $20 for each correct prediction.
