Professional athletes call it "being in the zone" a state of being in which they achieve spectacular feats in a nearly effortless fashion. The ball hits the hoop, the pitch blows by the hitter, or the quarterback delivers his throw.
We’ve seen many signs in the first quarter of 2015 (and earlier) that favor futures trading. It’s great to see news that brings much-deserved attention to the instrument and we only anticipate that its star will continue to rise, enhancing market opportunities, attracting new participants, and ultimately enriching traders’ lives.
Futures are not a natural place to start trading, but it surprises me when I talk to experienced equities and options traders that have never considered the benefits of trading futures. So, while futures may not be right for everyone’s portfolio, they’re right for mine. Here are five reasons why I trade futures.
